Wojniak in Wynola

Mike Wojniak, a San Diego-based singer & songwriter, has been praised for his aesthetic style, his dramatic imagery and his "heart-on-the-sleeve" approach to songwriting. Since venturing into the solo world, Wojniak has released three full-length albums: His most recent album, Libero (2012), is an hour long exploration of themes ranging to the impermanence of life to the meaning of the Latin word libero, "to be liberated or set free." Previously released albums include: Follow the Crane (2008), a ten-song, electro-pop, home-recording; and Memento Vivere (2010), a delightfully rhythmic set of love-centered songs-and his first studio album.  Join us on the back patio Sunday at Noon for this session of 'Music at the Marketplace'.  We'll have our usual festive BBQ provided by Wynola's Daily Perc, along with wine, beer and hard cider tasting in addition to shopping and beading.  See you soon!

Alan Land Brings in the Sunshine!

So, if local wine, beer and hard cider, fresh organic coffee and unique shops isn't enough of a reason to visit Wynola Farms Marketplace this weekend we also present you the music of Alan Land.  Alan Land is a crooner from the old school. Whether he's fashioning an original song, or delivering a favorite from the Great American Songbook, smooth is the operative term. With decades of performing under his belt, he moves effortlessly between folk, jazz, blues, or Broadway, with a mix of Latin music added for spice.  Please join us this Sunday in Julian for some of life's finest pleasures.  Did I mention the weather is supposed to be perfect?  And BBQ on the back patio?  Okay, I'll stop.  We hope to see you soon!

Highwire and The Last of the Lilacs!

For this beautiful Earth Day weekend in Julian, Wynola Farms Marketplace will feature the live music of Julian's own HIGHWIRE band--a truly earth conscious group of people!  What a perfect match.  We also feel fairly confident that this will be our last weekend of fresh grown Wynola Farms lilacs.  It's been a relatively short season due to the beautiful weather we've been having.  As always, we'll have delicious BBQ from Wynola's Daily Perc on our back patio.  Come on up and enjoy Spring.

LILACS and Original Music By Enchanted Realms

Lilacs are still in bloom here in Julian with fresh cut flowers available by the stem all weekend long.  Sunday we will have our usual Music at the Marketplace event with BBQ from Wynola's Daily Perc.  Here is a preview of our musical guests Enchanted Realm:

Combining their musical energies, Scot and Theresa have created a velvety rich and beautiful sound for Enchanted Realms. With soulful dedication they unveil each original piece through myriad layers of instrumental and vocal complexities drawing from classical, medieval, new age and gypsy influences to reveal a swirl of gold at the center.  Lively and ethereal, their songs are vividly scripted with old world themes of love and romance, poetically interpreted and passionately performed, transporting listeners to a land beyond their dreams, to a place of beauty and light, and a sweet respite from the challenges of life.
