Snow on the Mountaintops?

Despite the beautiful Spring weather we've had there's a chance of snow on the mountain peaks surrounding Julian this weekend.  The best chance to see this would be Saturday morning.  Sunday should be crisp and clear with cooler than normal temps.  We'll have our friend Vic Moraga playing music inside near the winery on Sunday from 1-4 pm.  All shops will be open all weekend long.  We also have some surprises coming soon.  The first one arrives Memorial Day Weekend.  Look for an announcement in the coming weeks.  Happy Spring!

Highwire Band & Earth Day Program for Kids

This weekend promises some fabulous weather, great music and an Earth Day program for kids starting with an Easter egg hunt at 11am on Sunday.  Then at 1 pm Sunday The Highwire band will take to the "stage" and delight us with their original and thoughtful music.  Highwire has been our Earth Day band for 5 years running now.  Thank you Highwire!  All shops and tasting rooms are open all weekend from 11-5 (Wine tasting opens at 10am).

Lilacs, A Taste of Julian and Enchanted Realms

This weekend our small town of Julian is hosting the annual 'Taste of Julian' tour.  It's an opportunity to visit local restaurants and wine and hard cider tasting rooms across the area and sample what Julian has to offer.  Orfila Winery and Julian Hard Cider will be representing us here at Wynola Farms Marketplace.  Click here for more info.

Lilacs are still available through the weekend on a first come, first served basis.

And if you're in Julian on Sunday, don't miss the eclectic music of Enchanted Realms.  It's a musical treat you won't soon forget!

Lilacs, Lilacs, Lilacs + The Joe Black Band

We are in the middle of Lilac Season 2014 -- come up and bring a piece of Julian home with you this weekend.  While you're here, enjoy some live local music from the Joe Black Band on Sunday from 1-4 pm and enjoy shopping, wine and hard cider tasting all weekend long.  A special thanks to Vic Moraga for last weekend's music.  We neglected to post this information on our website.

The Lacemakers LIVE and Lilacs Emerging!

Lilacs are just getting their start up here in Julian!  Although our groves have a few scattered flowers that I would call 'ready for pickin,' I don't expect bunches of lilacs to be available at Wynola Farms Marketplace until sometime next week.  If you're on our lilac alert list, we'll send an email as soon as we're sure we have lilacs available.  If you're not on our Lilac Alert list you can request to be added by emailing albert@wynolafarms.com.  Now for music: Join us Sunday as we feature The Lacemakers as part of our ongoing Music at the Marketplace series.  I describe them as an eclectic mix of bluegrass, a bit folky with a sprinkling of country and an Irish twist!  Music will be inside the Marketplace from 1-4pm.

Enchanted Realms Live. Cowboy Rendezvous Now OPEN

We are proud to announce that our newest store, Cowboy Rendezvous, is now open for business.  A fusion of classic antique furniture and cowboy related gifts, this is a shop that says Julian all over it.  In addition to our new shop opening, we will feature live local music as our Music at the Marketplace series continues.  Two words come to mind when I think of Enchanted Realms: Quality Musicianship.  Join us this Sunday for some great music and some great weather.  All shops and tasting rooms are open.
